Npp- Washington DC Metro Area Chairman Calls for Unity and Steadfastness as Party Charts Path Forward

In a passionate message to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithful, Janis Asare-Bediako, Npp-Washington DC Metro Area Chairman, has called for unwavering unity and steadfastness as the party navigates through challenging times.
Speaking to the “elephant fraternity,” Chairman Asare-Bediako acknowledged the current difficulties facing the party while offering a roadmap for renewal and reconnection with Ghanaian voters.
“In times like this, it is normal for us to lose hope, despair and even blame each other on the shortcomings of our dear party,” Asare-Bediako stated. “One word I want to leave with the entire elephant fraternity is the word STEADFASTNESS.”
The Washington DC-based chairman defined steadfastness as being “firm, fixed, and resolute, with an unwavering loyalty, purpose, or belief, even in the face of challenges.”
Rather than dwelling on setbacks, Asare-Bediako called for introspection and accountability. “Let’s accept our failures as a party to the Ghanaian people, unite as a party to present a new NPP that has learnt its lessons of the past,” he urged.
The party leader expressed confidence that with renewed purpose, “the elephant party will once again be endeared to the hearts of Ghanaians.”
His message comes at a time when political parties across Ghana are reassessing their strategies and reconnecting with their base. The emphasis on learning from past mistakes while maintaining core values reflects a mature approach to political renewal.
“STEADFASTNESS is the key to turn the slide. Long live NPP,” Asare-Bediako concluded, rallying party members around the principle of unwavering commitment to their shared vision.
The message from the diaspora leadership underscores the global nature of NPP’s support base and the continued engagement of Ghanaians abroad in the country’s political discourse.
