Eliminate the mindset that someone hates you, It’s childish & slavery thinking – Rev. Vincent Kankam

Rev. Vincent Kankam, on Monday morning, urged Ghanaians to rise above negative mental habits. particularly the toxic belief that others hate them.

He addressed a common but destructive mental pattern that often breeds resentment, division, and self-doubt. According to him, the tendency to assume hatred or ill-intent from others, even without evidence, is a reflection of emotional immaturity and mental bondage.

“Eliminate the mindset that someone hates you in your mind. It’s childish and slavery thinking,” Rev. Kankam declared on Food For Thought on Kessben FM.

“It’s a form of slavery, mental slavery,” he said. “You tie yourself in emotional chains and limit your own growth when you constantly walk around with the idea that people hate you.”

Rev. Kankam emphasized that such thinking not only damages personal well-being but also weakens social cohesion and trust within communities.

He encouraged listeners to develop emotional intelligence, focus on personal growth, and avoid the victim mentality that keeps many people spiritually and socially stagnant.
