NPP Mourns Loss of Dedicated Member, George Boachie: Final Farewell on June 28

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its members in the United States are mourning the loss of George Boachie, a dedicated party founding member and financier of the NPP-USA New Jersey Chapter. Boachie, who passed away recently, will be laid to rest on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, at Abira, Kwabre East Constituency, Ashanti Region, Ghana.
A Life of Service
Boachie’s party activism began in Ghana, particularly in the Kwabre East Constituency and the then Manhyia Constituency. He continued to serve the party with renewed dedication after migrating to the United States. In New Jersey and Columbus, Ohio, Boachie was instrumental in supporting the party’s activities and was known for his approachable nature and hospitality.

A Cherished Family Man
Boachie will be remembered not only for his party activism but also for his role as a cherished family man. His nephew, Danny Opoku Antwi, Youth Organizer of the NPP-USA Branch, is among those mourning his loss.

Burial Service: Saturday, 28th June 2025, at Abira St. Joseph Catholic Church from 8am
Interment: Saturday, 28th June 2025, at Abira Baamu
Final Funeral Rites: Saturday, 28th June 2025, at Abira Market Square from 1pm-6:00pm
Thanksgiving Service: Sunday, 29th June 2025, at Abira St. Joseph Catholic Church from 8:00am
