“You cannot satisfy outsiders while insiders are ”hungry”— NDC Communicator Issah Yusif Gane tells Gov’t
Issah Yusif Gane has urged the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to prioritize the welfare of its grassroots communicators and loyal party members before extending favors or resources to others.
Speaking passionately during a political discussion on Kessben FM, Yusif Gane drew a cultural analogy from the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha (Salla), saying:
“You cannot satisfy outsiders while insiders are hungry. Even with Salla meat, you are supposed to share with your neighbors first before extending to outsiders. That is our tradition, and that principle should apply to politics too.”
While acknowledging the importance of outreach and building alliances, Gane insisted that internal cohesion and motivation must come first.
