 Ghanaian Players Abroad: Midfielder Lawrence Agyekum nets for Cercle Brugge KSV in defeat against Beerschot

Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Agyekum has been on target for Cercle Brugge in their 4-2 defeat against Beerschot VA in the Belgium Jupiler PRO League relegation playoff.

The Black Stars midfielder played a crucial role, after lasting for 57 minutes and unfortunately, his side suffered a defeat at the Olympisch Stadium.

Agyekum hit the net in the 6th minute, giving the visitors an advantage before half time break.

Tolis in the 48th minute hit the equaliser, he added the second goal in the 50th minutes, making a crucial comeback on Saturday afternoon.

Loic Mbe Soh and Faisal Al Ghamdi all converted from a spot-kick in the 56th and 78th minute, sealing the victory for the host.

Paris Brunner scored in the injury time but wasn’t enough to earn Cercle Brugge a point on Saturday afternoon.

The 21-Year-Old midfielder has been involved in four goals, scoring two and provided two assist in the ongoing Belgium Jupiler PRO League competition.
