Adwumawura’ Program; This is  inclusive initiative to  support entrepreneurs across educational backgrounds- President Mahama

John Dramani Mahama , President of the Republic of Ghana has stated that the ‘ADWUMAWURA policy is focused on inclusivity.

According to him, the programme is open to all, regardless of their educational background.

“The ADWUMAWURA programme is designed to be inclusive. It is designed to be youth led. The programme is also regardless of your educational background. You can have little formal education but you can become an entrepreneur and ADWUMAWURA will help you to do that.

“Whether you are a university graduate,  you graduated from technical school, vocational school, you are a senior high school leaver, or even those with little or no formal education, you will have equal access to opportunities under this programme” he highlighted.

In line with the government’s commitment to inclusivity and equity,  he said 60 percent of the beneficiaries would be females.

He also mentioned that the NDC administration plans to leverage this programme with the aim of mitigating youth unemployment.
