Missing Containers: The energy minister, Jinapor must be tied to a tree and shot dead, He’s very incompetent, bossy, and lazy – Charles McCarthy

Charles McCarthy, the editor-in-chief of the Hulk Newspaper, has called for the brutal punishment of Ghana’s Energy Minister, John Jinapor, over the recent scandal involving the missing ECG containers.

Charles speaking on Kessben TV’s Maakye said the minister must be “tied around a tree and shot dead,” following the disappearance of 1,300 containers of ECG equipment shipped to Ghana.

The missing containers have raised significant concerns about the management and accountability within the country’s energy sector. According to reports, the shipment, which contained essential equipment for the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), went missing under unclear circumstances. The missing containers have left the nation wondering how such a large consignment of vital materials could vanish without trace, and whether there were lapses in the due process of checking and receiving the shipment.

McCarthy vehemently criticized the Energy Minister, accusing him of negligence and incompetence. The Hulk Newspaper editor claimed that John Jinapor failed to carry out due diligence and cross-checking during the process of receiving and handling the shipment. McCarthy also labeled the minister as “bossy,” “lazy,” and “incompetent,” calling for decisive action to hold him accountable for what he described as a “massive failure” in leadership.

“It is appalling that such a huge consignment of critical ECG equipment can disappear under the watch of the Energy Minister. This speaks to his failure to perform his duties properly,” McCarthy said. “He should have done his due diligence to ensure everything was in place. For such an embarrassing mess, he should be held accountable. In fact, this is a clear indication of his incompetence as a leader. He doesn’t deserve to hold such a crucial position.”
