Ghana at 68: Hon Charles Oteng Calls for Collective Effort to Drive National Development

Ghana celebrated its 68th Independence Anniversary on March 6, 2025, with a renewed sense of unity and determination to move the country forward. The celebrations, held at the Jubilee House in Accra, were marked by a ceremonial parade, a march past, and a heartwarming scene of people enjoying traditional fufu together.

Hon Charles Oteng, Assembly member for NII OKAIMAN EAST and NPP Youth Organiser for Anyaa – Sowutuom, urged citizens to come together to achieve national progress. “As a people, let’s work hard,” he emphasized, stressing the importance of collective effort in achieving national goals.

The theme for this year’s celebration, “Reflect, Review, and Reset,” resonated deeply with the occasion, emphasizing the need for Ghanaians to reflect on their past, review their present, and reset their future.
