Speaking in an interview with Kessben TV during the vigil for the late Kotoko fan, Pooley, the Technical Director of Asante Kotoko, Malik Jabir, shared candid thoughts about the club’s ambitions for the current season and the road ahead.
When asked about Kotoko’s goals for the season, Jabir didn’t mince words. “Our target had been to win the league,” he said, his voice filled with determination. “But let’s see what happens. We are working hard, and we’ll see where we end up.”
For Kotoko, one of Ghana’s most successful football clubs, winning the league is always the ultimate objective. Jabir’s statement reaffirmed the club’s commitment to competing at the highest level, despite the challenges that inevitably come with a long and demanding season.
The team’s goal to claim another league title is something the fans are always eagerly anticipating, and Jabir’s words only served to stoke the fires of hope.
