We motivated ourselves to surprise Kotoko – Daniel Lomotey

Daniel Lomotey, a striker for Young Apostles, says he is happy with his team’s performance following a 1-1 tie with Asante Kotoko.

In the Matchday 3 match, Young Apostles and the Porcupine Warriors drew 1-1 at the Obuasi Len Clay.

After excellent teamwork, Daniel Lomotey, an enterprising attacker, scored the first goal in the 51st minute.

But in the 76th minute, Emmanuel Antwi cut Lomotey’s goal short to guarantee Porcupine Warriors shared the victory.

“It was not an easy game for us. Young Apostles are new to the Ghana Premier League, we motivated ourselves to surprise Kotoko. In all, our performance was good.”
