Ghana Fetish Priests Association calls on Govt to use schnapps & eggs to swear during swearing-ins of presidents, & officials to curb corruption
The Ghana Fetish Priests Association has called on the Government to add the traditional method of swearing in for presidents and other government appointees.
The group on Monday organized a press conference calling on the Government of Ghana to as a matter of urgency add the traditional swearing method with schnapps and eggs.
According to the leader of the group, Nana Kwaku Bonsam who spoke on Kessben TV’s Breaking News with Nyakoh Aboronomah, If the traditional method with which schnapps and eggs are used to swear an oath is put into practice, the unending corruption will end in Ghana.
The current Ghana’s constitution provides the Bible and the Quran to be used to swear an oath, an event in which the swearer is not a Muslim or Christian, an affirmative action is taken based on the faith of the swearer but Kwaku Bonsu wants the schnapps and the eggs to be visible at the grounds to be held while the oath is taken.
