Absence of Minority MPs causes delay for Mid-year budget presentation in Parliament
Due to the minority caucus’s absence, the 2024 mid-year budget review has not yet been presented to Parliament.
According to reports the Minority MPs are demonstrating against the hold-up in the distribution of their common fund.
Today, Tuesday, July 23, 2024, is likely to see the presentation of the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament by Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam.
The presentation’s objectives are to give the House an update on the government’s 2024 budget’s implementation as well as updated financial goals and Ghana’s economic forecast.
