Hearts of Oak won’t be relegated – Opoku Nti
Hearts of Oak, in the opinion of Asante Kotoko veteran Opoku Nti, will not be demoted from the Ghana Premier League.
Nigerian striker Steven Mukwala’s brace helped Kotoko defeat Hearts of Oak 2-0 on Sunday, and Nti is overjoyed about it.
With the victory, Kotoko is now in the top part of the table, while Hearts of Oak now needs to gain a lot more points to maintain their position in the top division.
Hearts of Oak are in a risky situation with three games left; they are only two points above the drop zone.
“Kotoko haven’t pushed Hearts of Oak into the relegation zone. This season, Kotoko have triumphed over Hearts in both legs which has given Kotoko the upper hand, but I don’t think Hearts will be relegated,” He said Extra Time Sports.
