The newest social media sensation Akowuah Powers widely known as Asafo Powers has completely rubbished claims that his social media craze in his skits is meant to ridicule the disabled.
Asafo Powers speaking on Kessben TV’s Around Town with Koo Fante stressed that the style of his comedy skits was borne out during his playing days as a number 10 for Kumasi-based Cornerstones FC.
He stressed that he’s never doing what he does to mimic the disabled as some people have wrongly presumed.
“My style has never been about mimicking the disabled. I’m just playing my role as the playmaker in a football team.
I was a player of Cornerstones FC and you know that Guy Guy role that comes with the playmaker role as number 10. It’s never about mimicking the disabled” He said.
Since the breakthrough of the Asafo Powers and his hypeman, Ampram, Celebrities like Shatta Wale, Agya Koo, Medikal and Brother Sammy have all joined his craze.
