The reshuffle by Akufo Addo is too late, What are they coming to do now? – Amenfi East MP, Hon Nicholas Amankwah
Member of Parliament for Amenfi East, Hon Nicholas Amankwah reckons the reshuffle by the Akufo Addo’s government will not make any significant impact on the Ghana economy.
The Akufo Addo-led government announced a reshuffle on Wednesday, February 14, and included the removal of Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The reshuffle has affected about 13 of the current ministers of state, including 10 cabinet members and 2 regional ministers.
Hon Nicholas Amankwah speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye with Akuoko Kwarteng stressed that though it said “It’s better late than none, for this reshuffle it is too late than none.
He averred that with the timeline and considering the period left for the president to complete his term of office, (10 months) the newly appointed minister cannot make any proper inrows.
