Afigya Sekyere: NPP Primaries – Candidate gives GHC2000 to delegates & invokes curses over it, Delegates run to priests for curse to be overturned
Some delegates in Afigya Sekyere in the Ashanti region of Ghana had to plead for curses rained on them to be revoked ahead of the NPP parliamentary primaries on Saturday 27th January 2024.
One of the delegates speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Kwasi Ntiamoah said the father of Hon Mavis Nkansah Boadu who is seeking re-election gave them money and had to invoke curses over it.
According to him, the father of the current MP, Hon Nkansah Boadu gave out the cash and stressed that if they do not vote for his daughter, the curse should work.
The delegates who later fell uneasy reported the matter to the traditional council for the curse to be revoked.
