OSP dropping all cases against Cecilia Dapaah: The OSP must be investigated – Ziega (Video)
Political Analyst, Nana Frimpong Ziega has called for the special prosecutor, Kissin Agyebang to be investigated.
This follows after the OPS dropped all charges against the former sanitation minister.
The Special Prosecutor withdrew the request to validate the confiscation and freezing of Cecilia Dapaah’s funds and bank accounts.
In addition, the prosecution has withdrawn a criminal case brought against the former minister of sanitation for failing to disclose her assets.
Following several in-chamber hearings on the subject, this conclusion was made. The Special Prosecutor has been holding Cecilia Dapaah’s funds that were taken during a search of her home as part of the investigations for several months.
In view of the above, Nana Frimpong Ziega reckons, the OSP must be investigated with immediate effect.
