A music industry ruled by jealousy can’t win even if foreign music is banned – Shatta Wale

Dancehall musician Shatta Wale thinks that playing music from Ghana will fail.

According to him, jealousy is the driving force behind the issues with Ghanaian music.

According to Shatta Wale, the music industry will not improve until people publicly and voluntarily support their colleagues and jealousy is forced out of the system.

“I just woke up to tell you , you can’t fight foreign music. Their 10% music will over-shadow the whole Ghana. Country with so much jealousy when it’s not them on the frontline. You see how poverty deh worry your artiste with nonesense suggestion . It’s poverty my guy,” he said in a tweet.

DJs in Ghana are being urged to play more music from the country, particularly during this holiday season when tourists from other nations come to celebrate.

It is anticipated that the action will raise awareness of Ghanaian artists and aid in the sale of Ghanaian music to international audiences.
