Manso Adubia: 21-year-old reportedly killed by Galamsey friends at site & thrown in a pit
A 21-year-old man identified as Kwame Vorsah was found dead near a site Galamsey site where he had been working at Manso Adubia in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
The mother of the deceased speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Nyakoh Aboronomah narrated that the colleagues of her son had returned home but unfortunately, her son had still not returned after some hours prompting them to launch a search for him.
The following day Kwame was found by a search party in an abandoned well near the illegal mining site he had been operating with his boss.
Though unconfirmed, snippets of information have it that, the 21-year-old was killed by some of his colleagues who would later bury him in the abandoned well.
Other reports also claimed that he might have been trapped in a Galamsey pit while working and his bosses decided to bury him somewhere.
The mother speaking on Kessben FM added that after the autopsy was conducted, doctors confirmed that, something huge had struck the back of his son, leading to death.
