Kumasi Asante Kotoko legend, Samuel Opoku Nti has urged the supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko to rally behind the club irrespective of whoever is tasked to lead the club.
The former player of the club speaking on Kessben TV stressed that a true supporter of the club will always stick with the club irrespective of the changes at the top hierarchy of the club.
Samuel Opoku reckons a supporter who follows a CEO or a BoD chairman after his stint with Kotoko cannot call himself a true supporter of Kotoko, emphasizing that those supporters might have been receiving some benefits from the CEO.
The former player urged Kotoko supporters to support the Interim Management Committee instituted by the Asantehene.
Members of the committee include former Ghana head coach, James Akwasi Appiah, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi who is serving as the Administrative Manager of the club, and Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awuah.
