Hakim Ziyech set for Galatasaray medical as Chelsea exit finally nears
Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Chelsea for the permanent transfer of Hakim Ziyech, sources have confirmed to 90min.
The Morocco international has been on the Stamford Bridge chopping block this summer after three years with the Blues.
Ziyech was expected to join Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr earlier this window, but an issue arose during his medical and the agreement with Chelsea fell apart – the winger later hit out at this supposed problem on social media.
Prior to that, Ziyech saw an initial loan move to Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window collapse due to paperwork at the deadline.

The 30-year-old was a bit-part player for the second half of the 2022/23 campaign and was not involved in Chelsea’s pre-season preparations under Mauricio Pochettino, while was left out of the matchday squad for their 1-1 draw with Liverpool on the opening day.
90min understands Ziyech is now closing in on a move to Turkish champions Galatasaray, who are set to lose Nicolo Ziliano to Aston. He will now head to Istanbul to undergo a medical.
Ziyech was subject to further interest from Saudi Arabia, but he has been swayed to stay in Europe and compete in the Champions League – Galatasaray will face Molde in the play-off round and are favourites to reach the group stage.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are set to confirm the signing of Romeo Lavia from Southampton later this week after agreeing 58m pounds ousting competition from Liverpool.
