Teachers living in this Bangalow finally threaten to stop attending class after snake invasion
If nothing is done about their teaching accommodations, the school’s teachers at Breman Otabilkwaa D/A Basic School in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of the Central Region have threatened to cease showing up to class.
In less than a week, five snakes and scorpions made their way into the teachers’ Bangalow, Nana Tawiah, Kessben FM’s reporter said while reporting from Breman.
Many newly placed teachers have decided to boycott the school as a result of the poor condition of the Teacher’s Bungalow.
Due to the condition of the teacher quarters and the lack of accommodations for teachers, numerous teachers had also asked for transfer.
Their kindergarten building has likewise become a death trap, terrifying the neighborhood.
Parents bemoan their fears that the school building would collapse and harm their children, but they are pleading with the government to help them by providing better teacher housing and a kindergarten classroom building.
