Asante Kotoko legend, Wilberforce Mfum reckons the current crop of Asante Kotoko players are substandard.

The former player speaking with Kessben TV stressed that it will be better for the leadership of the club to go for better players and let go of the current ones.

Mfum asserted that the current players at the club lack the reasoning abilities to be good footballers.

He however also urged the supporters of the club to exercise patience and hope for the best for the club to reignite its old good days.

“Those who are all rust-to-die players (Aweawufuo). They should let all of them go and sign new ones and if we want new ones, we have to get money. Otumfuo said he will give Kokoto money to start so we are looking upon him.
