Jukwa Bremang: Construction of bridge turns death trap, 2 dead so far
An abandoned bridge being constructed in Jukwa Breamang has now turned into a death trap.
Kessben FM reporter, Sir Nature reporting on Kessben FM’s Breaking with Kwasi Ntiamoah noted that the state of the under-construction bridge has led to two lives being lost.
According to Sir Nature, the Bridge being built has been abandoned for 4 months without being attended to by the contractor working on it.
The construction of the bridge has eaten into the main road which has made the road that was supposed to be a double lane now a single lane.
The residents of the area who ply the road say they have consistently reported the state of the bridge to the authorities but there has been no significant response.
