Rev. Osei Bonsu of (MOGPA) builds ICT Lab & Mechanized borehole for Mfensi D/A JHS
Rev Isaac Osei Bonsu, Founder and leader of the Movement of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA) as part of giving back to society and the less privileged has built and commissioned an ICT laboratory with forty computers and a projector, a Library furnished with books and Mechanized borehole and washroom for the Mfensi D/A Junior High School (JHS) in the Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti region.
This to improve teaching and learning in the community, especially ICT, and improve sanitation.
Pastor James Asiedu Mensah, Associate pastor who represented Rev Osei Bonsu at the event explained that the mission of every Christian is to win souls for Christ and to help the needy in building society to improve the standard of living.
According to him, the founder has recognized the need to help improve the standard of education for the students who are the future leaders of the country, and for that matter the provision of the facility.
He entreated all stakeholders in the community to help protect and maintain the facility to benefit the generations to come by serving the intended purpose. He urged other churches or religious bodies, philanthropists, and corporate organizations to emulate Rev Osei Bonsu in partnering with governments to ensure the total development of the country, especially in terms of building infrastructure.
Madam Rebecca Yeboah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Nwabiagya North, urged the indigene in the community to emulate Rev Osei Bonsu to complement to improve the standard of education towards the total transformation of the standard of living.
She expressed her profound gratitude to the Rev Minister for taking several developmental projects within the district in terms of potable water and building educational infrastructures.
The DCE tasked the school management and teachers to cultivate a maintenance culture to keep the facility last to serve the community. Mr. Frank Duah Boateng, the District Director of Education stated that the facility has come at the right in this computer and digital world, and would help improve teaching and learning.
He said the ICT laboratory with the library would enhance reading and the studies of ICT, and lauded him for his good works and determination to complement the government to improve the standards of living especially through education.
