“I have no house abroad but most of my workers do – Dangote Reveals

Aliko Dangote, the richest man in Africa and a billionaire, has admitted that he does not own a vacation property overseas, despite the fact that some of his employees do.

This was said in a video released on the Tony Elumelu Foundation’s verified Instagram page by the chairman of the Dangote Group.

Dangote offered some business advice to entrepreneurs and business owners in the video, which looks to be an interview with Business Insider Africa.

“A lot of people, even the younger ones, we need to be very careful because one of the biggest issues with us Africans, is that we spend our projected incomes.

Once you start doing business and the business starts doing well, rather than for you to keep investing into the business, you start spending money and thinking that the profit will continue to come.

Luxury things — they also take up your time which will not make you focus on your business. I mean, I don’t have any holiday home anywhere; I don’t have a house anywhere but I know people who are working for me, they have a house in London. But I don’t”

The well-known businessman has an astounding net worth of $15.6 billion, mostly thanks to his conglomerate, which includes a cement manufacturing company, a fertilizer facility, and a recently built refinery.

Notably, he demonstrates a passionate dedication to charity by actively participating in a wide range of humanitarian endeavors and activities focused at giving back to the community.
