Otumfuo Educational Fund donates to schools in Bekwai

The Otumfuo Educational Fund has donated teaching and learning materials to selected schools in the Bekwai district of the Ashanti region.
The materials were given under the Otumfuo mobile learning projects as part of efforts to improve teaching and learning in deprived areas.
Presenting the items, the administrator Habiba Nyarko Agyemang said the objective of the Fund is to bridge the gap between urban and rural areas as far as learning and teaching is concerned.
Beneficiaries who shared their joy after receiving the items said they lacked study materials and couldn’t afford to buy them.
The teachers also said they were grateful to the Fund for remembering them in their time of need.
