Afriyie Barnieh had no motivation to be part & play for Ghana’s CHAN team, I Would have dropped him – Andy Kerm
Sports Analyst, Andy Kerm has stated that there was absolutely no motivation for the former Accra Hearts of Oak player to give off everything on the pitch to Ghana’s CHAN 2022 team.
Andy reckons he would have dropped the FC Zurich forward from the Tournament squad if he was the coach because Afriyie had no point to prove.
Prior to the CHAN tournament in Algeria, Afriyie Barnieh completed his move from Accra Hearts of Oak to FC Zurich in Switzerland.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Extra Time sports with Joe Laka, Andy underscored that Afriyie Barnieh was not much spurred to give off his best in the tournament because he obviously has nothing to prove again after having a stint with the Black Stars and also completing his move to FC Zurich.
Andy noted that in the upfront of the CHAN team, he would have preferred Chelsea’s Mezzark Afriyie to lead Ghana’s for-line.
