Kessben University College to have its campus-based Radio Station
Kessben University College, a privately-owned tertiary institution, established in 2011 and started its operations in 2015 has acquired a radio frequency at its main Campus at Kuntenase.
The institution was founded by Stephen Boateng Esq, the CEO of Kessben Group of Companies. Speaking in an interview on Kessben Media (Kessben TV, Kessben 93.3 FM, Kessben 92.9 FM, etc.), Mr. Stephen Boateng esq disclosed that Management of the College has acquired authorization to run institutional Radio on 87.7FM at its Kuntanase Main Campus.
He indicated that, unlike its competitors that run online radio, Kessben University College would be the first private tertiary institution to fully own .and operate a traditional community-based institutional radio station.
The Founder of the Kessben University College also added that this initiative would be an added advantage and innovative way of facilitating the practical training of the students of the College, especially in respect of the B. A. Media and Communication Studies as well as Diploma in Media and Communication courses.
He said that the campus-based radio would also serve as a non-commercial source of information, education, and entertainment to the catchment area of the Kessben University College.
He encouraged both the youth and adults to take a keen interest in accessing quality and affordable education at Kessben University College. The Registrar, Mr. Samuel Osei-Poku, expressed his utmost gratitude to the Founder for his immense financial, logistical, and moral support to the College.
