C/R: Snakes chase us from our classroom – Headmistress cries out
The headmistress of Enyan Abaasa Anglican Basic School in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region, Mrs.Grace Opaku Mensah has disclosed that snakes from the nearby bush around their school sometimes chase them out of the classroom during contact hours.
According to her, this is a result of the lack of doors and windows at the entrances of their school building.
According to her, the School is facing numerous challenges which need immediate attention from the government and the natives of the Enyan Abaasa Community.
She noted that, because the school building is uncompleted water comes into the classrooms anytime it rains.
She called on the government, the Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan Essiam Constituency Ato Forson, the District Chief Executive of Ajumako Enyan Essiam District, Rev.Ransford Emmanuel Kwesi Nyarkoh, Residents from the Enyan Abaasa Community and all Stakeholders to come into their aid and complete the school building.
Speaking in an interview with Kessben Media Nana Tawiah, some of the Residents from the Enyan Abaasa Community also stressed the school building needs immediate attention as the structure is uncompleted.
The residents said they see the school pupils sometimes going home anytime it is about to rain.
