Atwima Mponua: Operation clear illegal miners burnt down 6 Changfans, 10 arrested (Video)
Atwima Mponua District intensified Security Operations to arrest 10 people and items impounded from alleged 10 Togolese at Mpasatia, Beposo, Abompe in the Ashanti region.
Hon Isaac Kofi Marfo- DCE for Atwima Mponua District in the Ashanti region together with Nyinahin District Police, Immigration and National Security made the operations at Mpasatia- Beposo- Abompe mining saga arresting 10 people and burnt down 6 Changfan machines and impounded some other items.
Speaking with Hon Isaac Kofi Marfo- DCE for Atwima Mponua District Assembly, he was impressed with the operations and hailed the Nyinahin District Police, Immigration and National Security for the exercise they assure that they are ready to bring the perpetrators or their main leaders on board for prosecution.
DCE Hon Isaac Kofi Marfo after the exercise spoke with some of the delegations made up of Nananom and party faithfuls who appreciated the operations saying it would go a long way to bring other perpetrators to books to testify the DCE Hon Isaac Kofi Marfo has no knowledge of the false allegations made against him.
