N/R- NDC Internal Elections : We did not deny any one the chance to contest 2,202 Branch Elections

Alhaji Mohammed Amin, Northern Regional Election Director of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) said that, no one was denied the chance to contest the branch election.

He revealed that, Many party members picked the forms and even branches that members are going unopposed were also allowed to pick up the forms to be fully endorsed by branch members of the party.

The Director added that, aspirants were vetted and also constituted a committee to deal with members who had issues regarding to the vetting process.

Northern regional was divided into two that was the eastern corridor consisting of ten(10) constituencies and the remaining eight(8) constituencies enable them run the elections well organized.

In monitoring some branch elections within the Tamale Central Constituency at St. Peter School Polling Station,Alhaji Mohammed Amin expressed gratitude to the branch election committee for the conduct of free and fair election.

And edge constituencies election committees to emulate the peaceful nature of branch elections.
