MPC to commence its economic review meetings

The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Ghana will later today commence another round of meetings to review developments in the economy.
This would be the first to be chaired by the Acting Governor, Dr. Kofi Wampah.
The meetings are due to end on Wednesday with a decision on the Monetary Policy Rate which affects the interest paid on bank loans.
The last meeting in June saw the rate increased from 14.5 to15 per cent.
