Disabled folks who were sacked after closure of road tolls storm road ministry after 6 months of hunger (Video)
The physically challenged on Monday 20th June 2022 besieged the premises of the road ministry in Accra.
According to them, the Government has completely neglected them months after they were sacked from the various toll boots in Ghana.
One of the disabled men speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Nyakoh Abronomah bemoaned that the government has not fulfilled their promise after they sacked them from the work which was earning them daily bread.
He reiterated ever since they were sacked last year in November, they have not heard anything from the Government even though they were assured by the Government to find them something different to earn them a living.
Six months after they were sacked, the disabled men and women are still not been found anything to do.
They complained they have been starving at home doing nothing yet they have the ability to at least do some things which will bring food to their tables.
