One of the 6 six suspects who were freed during the attack by the irate youth of Nkoranza at the Nkoranza Police Station has reported himself to the police barely after 12hours following the cell break, the Kessben Newsroom has gathered.
The irate youth in the course of protesting against the alleged killing of Albert Akwasi Donkor, who was attacked by the Nkoranza Municipal Police, laid an ambush at the Headquarters destroying the properties of the police and freed at least six suspects who were in custody.
To the surprise of the police, one of the suspects who were in cells reported himself to the police hours after calm was restored.
The highly furious youth threw stones and bottles at the officers, after destroying properties, including vehicles, at the police headquarters in Nkoranza.
It took the intervention of the paramount Chief of Nkoranza, Nana Kwame Baffoe IV, who appealed for the conscience of the rampaging youth who had already planned another protest.
