Achimota Gutter Death Trap: Do something now before anything bad happens for you to bring expired rice to victims – MP tells NADMO
Okaikwei North member of parliament, Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni is worried over the progressively worse condition of the Achimota gutter which poses a death threat to the residents around.
The lawmaker speaking to Kwame Appiah Kubi on Kessben FM stressed that she has personally drawn the attention of the various authorities to ensure the necessary works are done on the deteriorating gutter.
Despite her constant calls to the authorities to work on the gutter, Hon. Theresa says the authorities have completely neglected their duty to fix the bad situation at Achimota.
Being a member of parliament for Okaikwei north on the ticket of the NDC she says won’t let her relent though her party is not in Government.
She stated that human lives are much more precious than what it will take for the authorities to solve the situation stressing that it will be better for institutions like NADMO and others to be proactive on such than to wait for something bad to happen and react.
