4 new flex fighter vessels show govt’s consistency in maritime security investment – MP
Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has said the 4 new flex fighter vessels acquired for the Ghana Navy is an indication of the government’s commitment in investing in maritime security.
He said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has consistently invested in improving the defensive capability of Ghana’s forces.
“The Ghana Navy has received 4 new flex fighter vessels to enhance maritime security, protect offshore oil and gas installations and safeguard Ghana’s Exclusive Economic Zone. H.E @NAkufoAddo, has consistently invested in improving the defensive capability of our forces,” the Majority Chief Whip said in a tweet on Friday January 14.

The Government has acquired four new fighter vessels for Ghana Navy as part of moves protect the country’s waters.
The vessels are expected to enhance the capacity of the Ghana Navy to protect the country’s maritime area.
The vessels which will be manned by Naval captains with international ratings are equipped with the needed logistics to protect national installations and also deter and make Ghana’s adjoining coast safer.
The Government over the years has provided the necessary vehicles, machines, and other equipment that will help improve the security of its citizens on the land, in the air, and our water bodies.
