No team has dominated world football with two young center-backs – Andy Kerm tells Barcelona the hard truth after defeat to Real Madrid
Football analyst Andy Kerm has questioned Barcelona’s defensive setup following their 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid, arguing that a team cannot dominate world football with two young centre-backs, Pau Cubarsí and Gerard Martin.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Kerm expressed concerns about Barcelona’s reliance on young defenders, suggesting that the experience required at the highest level is crucial for a team seeking to dominate both domestically and in Europe.
He suggested that Barcelona may need to strengthen their defence with more experienced players to improve their competitiveness against top European sides.
Andy Kerm’s comments come as Barcelona assess their defensive performance after the defeat to their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, in the high-profile Spanish encounter.
