New NPP Executives Call On Former President Kufuor, Seek Wisdom To Restore Winning Ways

Newly elected National Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have paid a courtesy call on former President H.E. John Agyekum Kufuor at his residence.

The delegation was led by the newly elected National Chairman, John Boadu.

In a statement shared after the visit, Mr. Boadu said the visit was to formally introduce the new executives to the former President and more importantly, to seek his counsel, wisdom and guidance as they begin a new chapter of service to the party.

“Today, I had the distinct honour of leading our newly elected National Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on a courtesy call on His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor, former President of the Republic of Ghana and a revered statesman of our Party,” he wrote.

According to him, President Kufuor’s wealth of experience, deep understanding of the NPP and enduring commitment to the ideals of the party’s tradition remain invaluable assets to the party.

“We listened with great humility to his words of wisdom and reflected on the responsibility that comes with leading the NPP at this critical moment,” Mr. Boadu added.

He said as a new leadership, they are committed to building on the Party’s rich history, strengthening unity, deepening structures and working tirelessly to restore the NPP to electoral victory.

The visit comes days after the party’s national executive elections, with the new leadership rallying under the theme #BringingBackTheWinningWays.
