Queiroz questioned why Ghana uses match Stadia as training grounds – GFA Comm. Dir, Henry Asante Twum

Former Black Stars coach Carlos Queiroz raised concerns about Ghana’s football infrastructure, particularly the use of the same stadia for both competitive matches and training sessions, according to Ghana Football Association communications director Henry Asante Twum.

Speaking on Kessben Sports following Queiroz’s departure from the Black Stars, Asante Twum said the Portuguese coach struggled to understand why facilities used to host Ghana’s international matches were also being used as training grounds.

“One of the concerns raised by Carlos Queiroz is about our stadia. He didn’t understand why the same stadium we play our games is the same place we use as training grounds,” Asante Twum said.
