JFK Demonstrates Exceptional Work Ethic and Competence – Vida Agyemang

New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist Vida Agyemang, popularly known as “SkillsMama,” has appealed to delegates in the party’s upcoming national executive elections to endorse incumbent General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK) for a second term.
Speaking to reporters in Kumasi, Ms. Agyemang highlighted JFK’s extensive track record, noting that his leadership across student politics, polling station, constituency, and regional roles demonstrates a proven history of administrative competence, high ethical standards, and calm temperament.
Track Record:
Ms. Agyemang emphasized that JFK is not an accidental politician, but a grassroots leader who has served the NPP diligently at every level:
Student Activism:
Beginning with TESCON at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), he played a pivotal role in revitalizing student political engagement across the Ashanti Region.
Electoral Operations:
During the 2008 general elections, he efficiently led the Ashanti Regional Campaign Team’s electoral results collation unit.
Youth Mobilization:
Serving as Deputy Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer in 2010 and later as Regional Youth Organizer, he mobilized the grassroots machinery that contributed to the NPP’s 2016 electoral victory.
Institutional Governance:
As Chairman of the National Youth Wing’s Legal Committee, he led the drafting and promulgation of the official TESCON Constitution.
Strategic Communications:
He served as Chairman of the Ashanti Region Strategic Communications Committee (2020) and was a key member of the V20 Team, training personnel and strategizing for the party’s re-election campaign.
Public Service:
As the longest-serving CEO of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) from 2017 to 2022, he overhauled the institution’s governance framework and facilitated the creation of over 100,000 job opportunities for Ghanaian youth.

Following advice from then-candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2009, JFK pursued legal training and has built a career as a lawyer specializing in corporate and commercial arbitration and litigation.
