Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Jaman North, Enoch Nyarko, has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of taking credit for road projects initiated and contracted under previous NPP administrations.
Speaking on Kessben TV, Mr. Nyarko argued that many of the roads currently under construction across the country were contracted by the NPP, but the NDC is now presenting the projects as its own achievements.
“Most of the roads you see under construction today were contracted by the NPP, and the NDC are claiming praises with it,” he said.
The issue of road development has frequently featured in political discussions, particularly as successive governments continue existing projects while announcing new ones.
