Let’s grab the opportunity to bring NPP to power in 2028 – Akufo-Addo
Former President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has called on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to work towards securing victory in the 2028 general elections.
According to him, the 2028 polls present a crucial opportunity for the party to return to government, and the NPP must not allow the opportunity to slip away.
Akufo-Addo made the remarks when Dennis Miracles Aboagye paid a visit to him at his office.
“2028, come what may, we have to win this election. The opportunity is 2028. Let’s grab it and make sure we bring an NPP government back into office,” he said.
The former president also stressed the importance of unity within the party following its internal elections. He said the NPP would need to bring all its members together and work collectively to strengthen its chances of reclaiming power in 2028.
