
Juaben MP Hon Francis Owusu-Akyaw has supported the people of Akronwi with the financing and completion of a new Durbar Ground, providing the community with a befitting facility for traditional and social activities.
The Member of Parliament for Juaben Constituency, Hon Francis Owusu-Akyaw, has joined the Chiefs, Elders, opinion leaders and residents of Akronwi for the opening and dedication of a newly completed Durbar Ground in the community.
The project, which was financed by the Member of Parliament in support of the community, is expected to serve as an important venue for traditional ceremonies, community gatherings and other significant activities.
Speaking during the ceremony, Hon Francis Owusu-Akyaw expressed his commitment to supporting development initiatives that have a direct impact on the lives of constituents.
He noted that the completion of the Durbar Ground demonstrates what can be achieved when community members and their leaders work together with a shared commitment to development.
The MP expressed his appreciation to the Chiefs, Elders, opinion leaders and the entire people of Akronwi for their warm reception and for the appreciation shown towards his contribution to the project.
According to him, the facility will not only provide a suitable space for traditional activities but will also contribute to strengthening community engagement and preserving the cultural heritage of the people.
Hon Francis Owusu-Akyaw reaffirmed his commitment to supporting projects and initiatives aimed at improving living conditions and promoting development across the Juaben Constituency.
He emphasised that he would continue to work with traditional authorities, community leaders and residents to identify and support projects that respond to the needs of the people.
The opening and dedication of the Akronwi Durbar Ground therefore marks another addition to community infrastructure in the Juaben Constituency and reflects the MP’s continued engagement with communities within the constituency.
