Trotro mates make minimum of GH¢300 daily – Station Master reveals 

A station master has disclosed that trotro mates in Ghana earn a minimum of GH¢300 per day, highlighting the financial potential of the transport sector despite its demanding nature.

Speaking on Kessben Drive with Fante Quoo, the station master explained that the daily earnings depend on the number of trips completed and passenger turnout, with some mates making even more on busy days. He noted that while the job requires long hours, resilience, and constant interaction with passengers, it remains a viable source of income for many young people.
