The people of Asanteman never discriminate, and without Asanteman NPP can never win power – Paul Afoko
New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman hopeful, Paul Afoko, has described Asanteman as a vital pillar of the party’s electoral fortunes, saying the NPP cannot return to power without the support of the Ashanti Region.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Afoko stated, “The people of Asanteman never discriminate, and without Asanteman, the NPP can never win power.” He praised the region’s longstanding commitment to the party and called for greater unity as the NPP prepares for future elections.
Afoko stressed the importance of strengthening the party’s structures and fostering inclusiveness to position the NPP for success in the 2028 general elections. His remarks come as the party continues internal engagements ahead of its national executive elections.
