Mahama is resetting Ghana as promised – Bono East House of Chiefs

The President of the Bono East Regional House of Chiefs, Nana Owusu Sekyi III, has praised President John Dramani Mahama for delivering on the promises he made to Ghanaians during the 2024 election campaign, stating that the President is indeed “resetting Ghana” as pledged.

Speaking during a courtesy call on President Mahama at the Presidency, Nana Owusu Sekyi III said the government’s economic policies and development initiatives have begun yielding positive results, giving credence to the President’s vision of transforming the country.

According to him, the progress made so far demonstrates the administration’s commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians and restoring confidence in the economy.

The Bono East House of Chiefs President particularly commended President Mahama’s flagship Big Push Initiative, which seeks to address the country’s road infrastructure deficit through massive investments in road construction and rehabilitation.

He noted that poor road networks have long hindered economic activities in many parts of the country and expressed optimism that the initiative would significantly improve transportation, facilitate trade, and promote development across the regions.

Nana Owusu Sekyi III also lauded the President for honoring commitments made during the campaign period and urged the government to maintain its focus on infrastructure, agriculture, education, and other sectors critical to national development.
