DCE for Ahafo Ano South West Hon. Abubakar Sadik supports 24 PWDs – (Persons With Disabilities)
The District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South West District, Hon. Abubakar Sadik, has provided support to 24 Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in the district through economic empowerment, medical assistance, and educational support.
The intervention included the donation of a tricycle, deep freezers, start-up capital, medical aid, and educational assistance aimed at improving the beneficiaries’ livelihoods and promoting self-reliance.
Hon. Abubakar Sadik expressed gratitude to John Dramani Mahama for the timely release of the Common Fund, which made the support initiative possible.
Addressing the beneficiaries, he encouraged them to make good use of the support provided and reminded them that disability does not mean inability. He emphasized that they are valued, capable, and play an important role in society.
