They say dollar rate has come down, but the price of nothing has come down on the market – Nana Adjei Perez
Nana Adjei Perez has expressed concern over the high cost of goods despite the recent decline in the dollar exchange rate.
Speaking on Kessben FM, the NPP communication team member stated that although the cedi has strengthened against the dollar, prices of goods and services on the market have remained unchanged. According to him, many Ghanaians are yet to feel the impact of the improved exchange rate in their daily lives.
He noted that traders and businesses are expected to adjust prices to reflect the drop in the dollar rate, adding that the current situation continues to put pressure on consumers across the country.
