NPP will have no campaign message for 2028, looking at the way the NDC Gov’t is running the country – Akuoko Frimpong

Former Sekyere Central District Chief Executive Akuoko Frimpong has stated that the NPP could struggle to find a strong campaign message for the 2028 general elections if the current NDC government continues what he described as effective governance.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Frimpong said the administration of President John Dramani Mahama appears to be managing the country in a way that could make it difficult for the opposition NPP to criticise government performance ahead of the next elections.
According to him, the direction of the economy and governance under the Mahama-led administration may weaken the NPP’s ability to present a compelling alternative message to voters in 2028.
Hon Frimpong noted that political parties often rely on public dissatisfaction to build campaign momentum, but argued that the current government’s performance could reduce that opportunity for the opposition.
